Yes, they will work without the extra work of having to drill out any studs.

i found these a few months ago and though about getting some since i have a 1" body lift to lift everything up another inch.  Whatever happens though its waiting till spring time so I can work in the garage without freezing. It was -17 when I left for work this morning

I have a 99 TJ and want a 1" lift for my motor. Is the mount I order the same as a 4 L ?

TJ's use 4.0L mounts for both engines.

I've had a few different MM's and if it's a daily driver I recommend the spacers.  For daily driving the vibrations really get to you after a while.  Also, I suspect this may have been the case of the demise of my exhaust.

The other situation I notice a big difference is when launching from a stop.  I can feel how soft the OEM mounts are as the engine torque's to one side.  Launches aren't nearly as positive.

Thanks for the info! It hasn't been a daily driver in a couple years now. Do you know where i can get these. Living in Canada i know i will have to order them from the States.

Well, if it's not a daily driver adn you don't mine the vibrations, (it's like you're sitting in a massage chair) then I'd consider getting poly enging mounts rather tehn going with the spacers.

I'd probably look at these: http://browndogindustries.com/

I wouldn't try a 1" MML without a 1" BL, you'll run into clearance issues at the tranny cover and between the airtube and brake booster.  It also helps keep the fan lined up if you're still running a mechanical fan.

:crap: ...I was thinking about trying to go with the Rough Country 4" and using a 1MML" to get away without the t-case drop.  5" is more lift than I want... I think  ???  Thanks.

At 4", you will need either the TC drop or the SYE.  A MML alone will not reduce the rear driveline angles nor improve the spline contact on the slipyoke.

I would spend the extra money and do the SYE.  I wish I would have done it in the first place, would have saved me a few u-joints, mufflers and transfer case parts.

As Jeffy indicated, yep, they are the same.

I seriously doubt it.  I don't see how you'd get the fan lined up.

I disagree, yes it actually does/can.  Moving the motor up 1" and the Tranfer case up an inch worked perfectly on my setup.

From experience, whether or not you can just remove the t-case drop with a MML and BL is based on a couple of solid factors and then on some ambiguous ones. Your engine, transmission, t/case, and rear diff are the solid factors. If you have a 2.5L, AX-5, NP231, and a D35,  you have the longest rear driveshaft available in a TJ.  A good friend has a 4.0L, AX-15, NP231, D35 with a 1"MML and BL, RE non adjustable lowers and stock uppers in the rear (no TC drop). He has 4.5" of lift and no t/case skid plate drop and has very little vibes, so little infact that he could probably eliminate them with a cam bolt kit.

That said, now for the ambigous part, I've known jeepers that had vibes with the same drivetrain combo as his and as mine and the only way they could resolve them was with a t/case drop or SYE and adjustable upper and lower CAs.  I even know one guy that had to use cam bolts also. I think it all depends on what day of the week you Jeep was assembled on.

Worst case, you now have a 1" Body lift + MML, and have to put the TC back on until you can get an SYE and possibly adjustable CAs.  You could also always use washers instead of the TC drop parts to adjust the amount of drop if you have vibes.  Maybe you can get by with .5"?

FYI, the 5+ inches I got from my Rough Country kit and Body lift allowed me to clear 35's easily (well...I did a little fender flare trimming, as I have 10" wide wheels and a lot of backspacing, and my tires would rub the edges of the flares fully compressed)  I ran 33's on this setup for years, and it looked fine.  This was my budget approach to removing the TC drop.  I still plan to get an SYE, but it moved further down the list.  I'll do it when I get a new flat skid.

Well, if it's not a daily driver adn you don't mine the vibrations, (it's like you're sitting in a massage chair) then I'd consider getting poly enging mounts rather tehn going with the spacers.

I have a Daystar Poly MML and the vibes they pass to the body are HORRIBLE.  I should have went with M.O.R.E. bullet proof MML.  The other Jeepers here swear by them, and have little to no vibes from them.
