I have a 99 TJ and want to put in a 1" motor lift. So there the same as a 4.0 L ?

Yes, they will work without the extra work of having to drill out any studs.

i found these a few months ago and though about getting some since i have a 1" body lift to lift everything up another inch.  Whatever happens though its waiting till spring time so I can work in the garage without freezing. It was -17 when I left for work this morning

TJ's use 4.0L mounts for both engines.

I've had a few different MM's and if it's a daily driver I recommend the spacers.  For daily driving the vibrations really get to you after a while.  Also, I suspect this may have been the case of the demise of my exhaust.

The other situation I notice a big difference is when launching from a stop.  I can feel how soft the OEM mounts are as the engine torque's to one side.  Launches aren't nearly as positive.

Thanks for the info! It hasn't been a daily driver in a couple years now. Do you know where i can get these. Living in Canada i know i will have to order them from the States.

Well, if it's not a daily driver adn you don't mine the vibrations, (it's like you're sitting in a massage chair) then I'd consider getting poly enging mounts rather tehn going with the spacers.

I wouldn't try a 1" MML without a 1" BL, you'll run into clearance issues at the tranny cover and between the airtube and brake booster.  It also helps keep the fan lined up if you're still running a mechanical fan.

 :crap: ...I was thinking about trying to go with the Rough Country 4" and using a 1MML" to get away without the t-case drop.  5" is more lift than I want... I think  ???  Thanks.

At 4", you will need either the TC drop or the SYE.  A MML alone will not reduce the rear driveline angles nor improve the spline contact on the slipyoke.

I would spend the extra money and do the SYE.  I wish I would have done it in the first place, would have saved me a few u-joints, mufflers and transfer case parts.
