Most likely, it was two rich guy's who had to have it.  BJ is a joke though.  They hype everything and sell most of their cars for a lot more then what they're worth.  At least BJ and the seller are happy.

After the whole JFK Ambulance fiasco, I don't hold them in any high reguard.  It clearly showed they're just in it for the money and don't really care about the authenticity of the cars they sell.

it's awesome - took the rest of the automotive world a while to come up with the minivan. Looks great, but the money is indeed crazy

I like the one they did on Overhaulin'. They kept it pretty clean without tricking it out too much.

I watch Mecum on HDnet almost every night....drives my wife crazy (she hates the auctioneer voice).

Good commentary and a lot of deals. Between that and Wheeler Dealers I'm almost ready to make a purchase at an auction. So many great deals out there.

I'm not a huge fan of resto mods.  Some things are OK but then you get people would call it a restoration but really it's all updated aftermarket parts like a bored and stroked engine, low profile wheels, modern interiors, billet this and that.

I saw a Type II VW going for around $80K.

That Bus wasn't near that nice rolling out of Wolfsburg. I do like it but way to much money. I wouldn't want it just cause I would be afraid to drive it. I have a thing about Old VWs. I have 2 and would have more if I could afford them. :driving: I think it's 30 or 35 euro and you can get documentation from the VW Factory in Germany.
