Well,
After numerous months of not even touching it (busy/lazy), and a few weeks of trying to get a tach signal to MS, i finaly just taped into the negative side of the coil (works perfect). So I finally had perfect signal from all of my sensors feeding megasquirt and set-up the basic parameters in megatune. Last night I tried to start the jeep on MS, and it fired right up. I played with the idle fuel VE table and the warmup and afterstart enrichments a little bit and had it idling in the low 16:1 AFR  :D  Hopefully today i'll have a chance to do a couple cruise runs and datalog them and start tuning that. I'd like to be running completely on megasquirt by next weekend, i'd like the boost in fuel economy.

Once I have it running full time, i'm going to finish off all the wiring (make it pretty) and mount the switch. Once that is all done i'll post up some pictures. So hopefully next weekend I can post up pictures  :wink:

Well, set-up the "autotune" setting in megasquirt and am going to just drive around and let it work. This will tune my cruise speeds, then i'm going to have to do datalogged runs to tune the WOT. After dinner i'm hoping to go drive around a little bit, i'd take the laptop to work... but no way my g/f will let me take her laptop since i do construction  :(

further update: been running megasquirt for alittle bit. Still needs fine tuning but it is running good. I'm going to tidy up all the wiring this weekend and take some pictures hopefully. WOT it feels pretty good, 13:1 AFR instead of the incredibly richness that it was before. The jeep actually has some pickup suprisingly (never really got on it before). Tomorrow i'm going to be picking up 06 rubcon rims/tires, so maybe i'll take a picture of those too.
