Oil in Intake & TB sensors

 97 TJ

  Replacing cracked exhaust manifold  & O2 sensor (due to CEL for rich fuel condition). The elect. connectors at the TB for TPS & AIC, etc  have what looks like clean oil in each plug, enough that it drips out! (I did the 4.0 TB upgrade about 4 years ago and this condition was not present.) Also, once I removed the TB, the front intake runners had a 'pool' of black fuel/oil mixture in the bottom.

  Anyone have thoughts on what to look for!  Any help is appreciated, thanks!

The oil in the runner is from one of two things. You overfilled the oil or you have excessive CC pressure.  This could either be caused by blowby or it could be an obstructed CCV or CCV tube.  The tube goes from the top of the valce cover to the fitting under the TB.  There should not be fuel in the runner.  If there is then you have an injector issue on top of everything else the may be wrong.  No clue on oil in the connectors unless you for some reason poured oil on them.  If it's clean it's not coming from the engine unless you just change the oil.

did you spray the engine with some gunk remover or such and the pressure wash it? - that can explain the "oil" in the connectors

The PO could have applied dielectric grease to the contacts. If the engine is hot it can be semi liquid. Not a bad idea if you are mudding or fording streams.

 The only oil I can say indicates failure is the power steering pressure sensor. That kina pukes oil when it dies.
