MTS Plug & Play Dash Panel with Gauges
« on: August 26, 2013, 03:39:01 PM »
Just got the autumn Quadratec catalog in the mail today, saw this  http://www.quadratec.com/products/14001_030X_PG.htm  I wonder how well it works. I've been wanting to do something about my stock gauges, they drive me nuts, but the only option I found was to use autometer gauges and a aftermarket panel, but that's pretty expensive.

I'd be weary of the quality of the gauges.  The plastic looks kinda hokey too.  Good gauges cost money.  I've been thinking about swapping my gauges for VDO's.  If you can frabracate a little, all you need to do is make a support frame for the gauges that bolts to the instrument panel behind the plastic.  The Autometer bezel isn't that expensive.  It's teh gauges that are. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/atm-15218  The plug and play aspect of the MTS is cool though.

get the autometer version, the panel is not angled and is very hard to see.
