CHANGING OUT THE 6 SPEED TO A 5 SPEED

Hi Everyone im looking for some technical info about changing out my 6 speed nsg-370. I have a 05 tj 2.4 My transmission has has 3rd and 4th gear fail and now has failed totally.My issue is I cannot find another 6 speed anywhere in my loacation. what I am looking to do is swap in a 5 speed. What can I swap in with minimal mods? Any help would be great!

The NV1500 is the other stock transmission for the 2.4L.  I'm not sure if there's anything else though.  IIRC, the 2.4L uses the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the 4.0L which would make swapping in a NV3550 or NV4500 possible with some work.

apparently is not the same bellhousing as the 4.0L, Art pointed that out in my NSG swap thread, i used the 4.0L one, his was different bellhousing (for the 2.4L in his "Big Yeller").
