I know, this sounds like more of a personal problem, but I've discovered a downside to the extra wide fender flares. With all the wild temperature swings lately, the flares really like to expand and contract - so much so that several of the rear nutserts are pulling out. In the past I've seen a dealer tool for tightening them, but is it really necessary? Can I just use a bolt / nut / washer combo to accomplish the same thing? Or for that matter, can they be re-tightened, or do I have to buy new ones?
