Edelbrock was making shocks awhile back-- not anymore though (I've personally used Bilsteins on a couple of vehicles and would recommend those).
Edelbrock used to be a public company listed on the NASDAQ. I actually bought shares of EDEL in around 1995. My theory was that they would do well making aftermarket parts for the, then, burgeoning SUV market.
Later, I found that I was one of a grand total of six shareholders lol, which were probably me, Vic Edelbrock, Vic's daughter, some lady in Florida, some guy in Jersey and the investment bank that was dingbat enough to talk Edelbrock in to going public in the first place. The company was basically off investors' radar screens...
Price didn't budge for a while, so I moved on. Edelbrock has long since gone back to being a private company.
