Ethanol Free 91 or 87 10% ?
« on: May 24, 2017, 07:49:43 AM »
We have a station that carries 91 Octane ethanol free gas. I currently have been using 87 octane with the Lucas Ethanol treatment. I only drive my TJ once a week, or to go play in the woods or local mud bogs.
Would there be any performance gains worth the extra 75 cents a gallon ?

Really, I think it's going to be case by case situation.  Try it and see.

I run Ethanol Free 87 octane exclusively in all my vehicles.  I do get better mileage and my engine does run cleaner. I operate my 94 2 days a week as a DD and then weekends for play once a month.  It is a personal choice as believe I have less issues with my fuel system.
