Two questions

I'm sure it's posted somewhere, but I'm not sure how to word my search...

Anyway, does anyone know what sized security torx you need to do the Throttle Body swap?

And what sized torx do I need to remove all my door hinges?  I want to remove them so I can repaint them.

Anyone? :)

Oh yeah, it's on a 98 TJ.

The TB and door hinges use standard torx.  The only par tof the TB that uses tamper-proof torx is the AIS housing.  It's been a while since I've had to deal with them but they are small.

The TB, I think uses a T45.  I suggest getting a set though.  Sears and Lows (Kobalt) are around $25.  You can get Lisle brand at Sears for about the same amount and will go all the way up to T55 which is really nice.

^ those stupid tamper proof torx bits suck. I have a bunch of torx bits that came with a sears craftsman kit my dad gave me a loooooong time ago when he upgraded, but none of them have the hole to fit tamperproof... So i just bored out the manifold and put on the spacer, but i can't get the AIS off, so tomorrow i have to go buy a new set of torx bits so i can put the 4.0 one on  :)   I also painted my mirrors tonight  8)

Small tamper-proof torx sets are pretty cheap.  $4 will get you one off ebay.  Make sure you heat up the head under a match for a few seconds to break the lock-tite they use.

I've seen them at Sears with one of those hand-driver sets, too.
