Topic: Mopar Performance part numbers needed

I need the Mopar Performance part numbers for installing a performance cam in a late-model 2.5L.  I've already got these in my jeep but threw the numbers away and need them for a good buddy of mine.

Valve springs (for .450"+ of valve lift, same part as the v8's)
Valve spring retainers

I don't need any Chromoly part numbers.  Thanks a million for any help.

Here ya go.  Straight from the Book.

Valve Spring (2 options)
1.  P4529215  Conical, lift range .350/.430"
2.  P5249464  Single w/damper,  lift range .400/.525"

Spring retainers (2 options also)
1. P4529216 Single-Std. Valve Spring
2. P4529217 Conical Valve Spring.

What's the benefit of the Mopar Performance crankshaft?  And why offroad only?

Like the Cam's, they were never tested or intended for street use.  All of teh performance parts came from the Craftsman Truck series that ran the 2.5L XJ and MJ's.

Can you still get the Mopar cams?  I was looking but I was told they have been discontinued.

Does anyone know of any other cams for the 4 banger?  Is there a decent gain in performance with an upgraded cam?

Sometimes you get lucky and see one on Ebay but they are all NOS.  Most parts for any vehicle are made for 10 years after the last vehicle is made.

Gone are the day's of $29 cams.  If you want a new one then you'll have to go to Clifford.  They aren't cheap.

Yes, Mopar Performance cams for the 2.5L have long been discontinued, and most close-out stock has been sold.  I was one of the lucky ones and got one for around $30

When installing the Stage 3 Mopar Cam with .450 lift do I need to run different valve springs and retainers or can I use the original equiptment.
