I figured some of you might appreciate these pics
The pics below are how I used Cat 1 Tractor Top links as anti-wrap traction bars after I completed my Spring Over lift.
Here ya go.
Mounted to the front spring hanger here

Rear mounted to the top of the bump stop extension. Bolt I welded to the top of the axle sandwhich plate

And here is what it looks like from the rear view

If you can't see the pics here is the album url

How well has it handled the wrap? Did you put this on both sides? Does the eye on the front get bashed much or your not rock crawling?
I can wrap my axle like a SOB  when I get crawling, but otherwise I hardly notice it. I figur It's about time to do something.

Have taken it offroad but haven't taken it on rocks yet since the install.
But from my experience up in Tellico before I was lifted I would say that they will be tucked close enough to the frame and above the bottom of the spring hanger that nothing will hit it. When i was in Tellico(without a lift) I hit the bottom of the spring hanger but that's it.

Yes, there is one on each side.

Also check out the stinger from nth degree mobility.  (www.nthdegreemobility.com)  It is a boom arm that attatches to an included skid plate for your rear axle.  If you have a tj, it also allows you to scrap your upper control arms.  These guys make the BEST loft kits for tj's.  I plan on getting their 6" long arm kit.  I think if you are keeping your existing skid plate, you need an adapter they sell, as it is meant to attatch to their tummy tucker skid..  The guy used to work for D.C. during the formative TJ years, and damn is that lift SWEET!

Couldn't you have kept it on the inside of the spring hanger where it wasn't so fugly?

Looks like it would have hit the shock.  Still he probably doesn't need two. So if you only stayed on the passenger side of the Jeep, you wouldn't have to see it.

SkyJacker now makes a traction bar for 87-95 Wranglers and should be good axle wrap solution for SOA conversions.

Sorry, don't mean to put down your work but I think you might have a problem there: the distance between the bolt for the bushing on the frame and the axle will change with the axle travel up and down (that's why the need for shackles at the other end) - with your setup you practically restricted that movement - i think something will give there (most likely one of the bolts) - i'm curious to hear an update after you used it a while.
The skyjacker setup actually has a shackle for that purpose and achieves the the anti-wrap by the triangulation in the arm.
