Did you take measurements to compare for the actual lift?

Looks good. If I can see this correct, the zerk for the drivers front arm on the axle needs to be turned around for better accessibility.

May I suggest that he safety wires the clips to the quick disconnects. I used 80# fishing line. The clips due tend to get lossed when wheeling. I also tucked the tie end up underneath the curve of the sway bar. This helps protect it from the tire at full turn.

Tighten the track bar nut on the heim. They will be lots of play developed if he doesn't and potentially a brake. Was there an adj for the rear?

The lift looks nice.  But that pict of Paris Hilton... :ban:   I had to scan up and down so I could compare Jags pist with the top and saw more then enough of her...

Can you still get to all the zerks?  Looks really tight.

Thanks for the pointers Jag, the 01 TJ actually belongs to the new President of High Desert Four Wheelers (Dan) who is my good friend. We did measure and we also compared to my TJ which has a 4" Procomp lift and the frame was an inch higher than my TJ. We did not have enough time to finish installing the QD stowage pins or tighten everything up. We still have to install the SYE/Woods Driveshaft kit, and new Flowmaster exhaust before it's all done. The lift really caused some bad driveshaft vibes and a tranny drop was not enough to cure it, we tried a drop using 1" square tubing on each side of the pan but it still had bad vibes when accelerating from a stop. He also odered a kit to re-mount the transfer shift linkage on transfer or tranny and move everything off the body. Dan's TJ also has a 1'' prothane body lift and was running 2 or 3 inch coil spring spacers until we did the RE lift which had allowed the 33" tires to prevoiusly fit under the wheel wells but rubbed when the wheelin got rough. Anyway we are trying to finish everything in time for the CA4Wheel Panamint Valley Days Event on Nov 10-12

This is the lift I am thinking about getting for my TJ. It seems like a really good deal for the price. What type of shocks did you guys put on?

Rubicon Monotube RXJ701/RXJ702 which are really great heavy duty shocks, an option when ordering the kit and 100 times better than stock! The quality of the kit is impressive, especially the johnny type joints, intructions cant get any better, springs make the stock one's look like a joke. The old factory control arms look like weak flimsy units after you get them off and the factory rear swaybar links were plastic! If I could afford this kit I would buy it, this is how Chrysler should have built the Jeep TJ. I may even try to purchase the springs seperately to upgrade my existing cheap procomp lift which only came with lower control arms, springs, and shocks but procomps $700 price tag speaks for itself as a low end kit.

I've installed a few of those kits, they are very nice and worth every penny.

As for the grease zerks, those lower arms are mounted properly and there is no other option.  Besides, they'd get damaged if mounted beneath.

I just looked at them again.  I didn't notice they have a 90* bend.

I think I was thrown off by this one which is pointed the wrong way.

The RE7000 4.5 SuperFlex Lift proved to be amazing on and off-road, Firm yet highly flexible even to the point where the front spring dropped 3 inches from the upper cup when fully extended! The only real issue we discovered was the rear RE Monotubes lacked proper clearance from the rear lower spring cups when rear suspension is compressed. You will have to purchase the rear shock mount relocaters Part #RE2035 which allows repositioning of rear shock to clear coil spring cup after pinion has been rotated upward to accommodate CV driveshafts. This should have been included with the RE7000 Lift just as it is with their Long Arm Kits. We may also end up adding limiting straps on the front axle since the downward travel seems almost limitless. Overall I would give it four & half stars!
