I can see why Procomp was so stiff on my old YJ, the rear had 4 leafs and the front had 5 so I pulled a leaf out of the front making it much better. Did you see spring rates for coils?

wow no mater why i have a stiff ride... i have the BDS lift well at least i wont have to worry about sagging as soon. .
1990 YJ 4cly, ax5, 2.5 inch BDS lift, 31 MTr\'s,  Powertrax-lockers all around, track-bars removed, boomerang shackles, warn m8000 winch, electric fan. [sold but not forgotten]
