jeep currently has 3 inch body lift and 4 in suspension lift. 35in boggers fit well but i want to take nerf bars off and want to fit 38's. does anyone have this setup and have pics to show it or know anyone who does. will it even fit without rub.

No, you are out of luck.

Yes, since the 38" is only 1.5" taller in comparison to a 35" tire on paper. If you can fit a 35" and have 1.5" of more room, then it'll work.

If this is the Jeep you are referring, JEEP, then yes. But I'd be more worried about the turning radius and the axles accepting that tall and weight of a tire. You are pushing the axles now with the 35" Boggers. You'll need more than gear ratio to make up for the tire's weight. Brakes will also need to be addressed.

Why would you need to remove the nerf bars? If you don't want them, remove them.

Save your money.  :brick:

35's will fit BUT I wouldn't run them with stock axles.  Especially with boggers.  Those are HEAVY tires.  I'm sure 35's will rub when at a full turn so you'll need to turn out the steering stops a bit, too.  I wouldn't even think of 38's on the axles.

I think the reasoning for removing the nerfs is that when going with a larger tire the clearance between the nerf and the rear tire gets pretty small.  Although under compression the tire will swing rearward.

Rubbing?  I'd be worried about snapping!  What Kind of axles do you have?  What type of wheeling do you need 38's for
