AEM Brute Force CAI
« on: April 25, 2007, 10:03:53 PM »
Hey guys, i was wondering if a AEM Brute Force cold air intake system for a 2.5L TJ will fit my 2.5L YJ, i know its kind of one of those annoying questions but i can get a really good deal on a AEM CAI for the 2.5L TJ. I looked at a couple pics they dont look that much different. Thanks... :puzzled:

I guess you could make it work but the real problem is getting the shielding in place.  On a YJ there is no flat spot to mount the shield.  Leave the shield off and you turn your CAI into a HAI.  Still, it's a LONG path compared to the YJ's stock path.

LOL a HAI, well ive got some bad news guys... i sold the YJ ... bought a 77' Chevrolet Scottsdale with a aluminum block 454 CI , somewhere around 450hp 500ftlbs, it has 35x13.50's 3/4 ton running gears, 4 speed... its a hoss... very powerful, although i liked my YJ gas mileage .. the scottsdale gets around 8 mpg.=(  im currently looking for a older CJ , oh and i have a brand new CAMO besttop bikini top for a YJ if anyone wants to buy it, also have the camo rollbar grab handles make me an offer...
