Who would want such a narrow axle?  And for that price.

Not worth the money for a jeep guy.  But if you have a B body and want an axle that bolts right in, it's well worth it.

With 3.75" BS on the wheels, it wouldn't be that narrow.

The last one was for under $200 shipped.  It needs shafts, a carrier and gears, brakes but really, all that stuff would robably be changed anyway.  Look at what people pay for a TJ D44...

The Mopar D60 was one of those axles that would be a decent swap if you could ever find one, back in the day.

$200 for a bare housing isn't a big deal.   A rear D60 is $50 around here, Ford big bearing ends are $75.  Takes 45 minutes to narrow one ;)

Good luck trying to find a D60 out West.  I know where Currie gets all of their cores from (east) and they aren't that cheap either.

On that scale, my D44 should be a few bucks.  I got ripped off paying $150 ???

Not too bad.  D44's are $89 at the U-pull.   D60 and 14 bolt rears are a dime a dozen around here.  Plenty of rusted out 3/4 and 1 ton pickups in the midwest.

We have too many Rockcrawlers out here to get a D60 at those prices.  A 14 Bolt would be easier to find.  Most axles go for $300-500.
