To each his own. Me, I'd prefer something with three wheels like this.

I've seen a a flow of 80's bikes coming back.  I've seen a few that looked like they just came out of mothball on the roads.  The 80's are coming back though!  Honda has a new CB1100F they just revealed at the Tokyo Auto Salon.  I thought about picking up a 70's BMW R65 but figured it would be better to get something a bit more road ready.

I see them all the time but I"m never in a position to go ask anyone if they want to ride and don't know anyone with one, so I'm usually out solo screaming down the road.

AND I mean screaming.
This thing is loud as hell.

The 80's brought is the YJ, XJ and ZJ (it was still in development).  The Ferrari Testarosa, VW MKII Golf GTI, De Lorean, BMW M3 also came out of the 80's.  I've always loved the look of the 1980 Vette as well even though it was lacking power.  Although it's styling dated back to the early 70's.  It looked good.  Not so much for the 83 body style. The 80's gave us the birth of the GM4.3L.  It also gave us the rest of the pushrod 60* V6's. (2.8L, 3.1L, 3.4L, 3.8L)

There were iconic shows like the Dukes of Hazard, A-Team, Magnum PI, Knight Rider and MacGyver.

man yur right on all that. i just don't wanna relive it again. cripes i remember disco. testarossa reminds me of miami vice.

i think they put a 305 180hp (or so ) vette together. what a pile that was. if you wanna make a 2.8 run i can get you to 225hp.

it's friday. time for a few beers, work on the jeep, have some fun   :beers:

i can't say anything bad about my rex,  it is up to 400hp now and still drive it everyday with good mileage and manners,  i am board of it though,  i am selling it soon.  all the time i had it though i couldn't complain.  i also have a honda cbr f4I,  and one thing i will say about bikes is fuel injection is beautiful.  this is the first bike i had with FI and i love it,  and autox is lots of fun too.
