Any of you try side gapping your spark plugs. Does it do anything worth messing with?

Haven't done it but have heard it works.  Since plugs are pretty cheap it seems worth a shot.

I had to look it up.   It seems worth a shot.  Spark plugs are cheap.  I probably won't bother since I'm already running .030" over stock.  According to what I read you would gap to .025" or .010" under the stock gap.

This sounds similar to spark plug indexing, except with indexing you don't have to worry about ruining a good plug and a set of indexing rings can last a long time.

Indexing can take some time (trial and error) to get all four plugs lined up in the right position, but I noticed a little crisper acceleration.

Will do, I have the plugs and I'll be cutting them tonight at work. Probably put them in late this week.

Found that same site, looks pretty easy to side gap them. Thought of the same thing on the indexing of the plugs, didn't know they had rings for that though. Thanks for the tip, I'm at 65k miles, so plan to try both of these ideas out!!

Any updates on how this has worked for anyone running them?  I'm going to be getting new plugs before too long and was wondering if this was worth doing.
