...Lift up on the door while swinging it open and closed...

I have also found that the closer to the hinge I hold onto door to lift, the easier they come off.  I guess it doesn't put the pin in as much of a bind.

I've had mine off for a few weeks.  I have a bikini, jammer, duster combo.  When it rains, I take my wife's Jeep to work and cover mine with the trail cover.  But she's out of town now so if it rains

You guys are right on with the door removal tips. Works well and after several times the doors come off easier.

The "wind drag" of the top stinks. I take everything off whenever I can. I just throw on a jacket and go for it. If you must have the top (rain), I found it best to only remove the rear window.

I have seen the "emergency top" in the Quadratec catalog and think that might help with the pop up showers. I have the trail cover that works pretty well, but you have to park it.
