best spark plug?

was looking at new plugs the other day and couldent decide
bosch pt 4's and fusion seem nice but does the 4 electrodes hinder the gas and air mixture from getting to the spark?
since it is only going to arc once right. it not arc from electrode to electrode.

any comments would be appreicated. my buddy added them and said he got 40km more per tank......or is that just cause his olds ones were crap.....hmmmmm

Your basic Autolite Copper Core or Champion Truck Plugs.

I'm running ACDelco plugs in my Jeep and I'm very happy with them.  I reccomand them heh

Yup sounds kind of counter-intuitive, but buck-a-piece copper core plugs are the way to go vs. every expensive plugs I've tried.  This is coming from a guy who has most of the them in his 4Banger at one time or another -- Splitfire, Splitfire Triple Platinum, Bosch 4s, Iridium XPs. 

I'm not saying these high-dollar plugs won't work a little better than standard, copper-core plugs in other vehicular applications. 

But my experience with using them in a 4banger YJ says spend your money elsewhere.

I agree with the others.  I've run several different types, high dollar ones when they were on sale.  I could tell virtually no difference in either my YJ or the wife's XJ beyond what a standard new plug would do.  The only time I've found the need to run a speciality plug was on a high compression drag bike motor running a richer than normal mixture.  On the tractor motors that our 2.5's are its wasted money.  If the engine has good compression and the fuel/air mix is right a standard plug will set it off as good as the high dollar ones will.

The largest gap you can go without the engine pinging.  Stock is .035".  It will take trial and error.

Currently, I'm running .065" with my PD system.  I used to run .055" with my old Jacobs/MSD.
