Motor acting up
« on: May 27, 2009, 05:48:04 PM »
Hi I got a 97 TJ 2.4 and when I start it up after sitting for 5 or 10 min. or the first start of the day It starts right up and will sit there and ideal great. Than the thing will start idealing rough and the rpms will go down. And if you try to start off with it like that it'll pop up through the trouble body and the rpms will come back and it good to go till you turn it back off again.

Had the codes checked, and there's none showing. Put a new crank senser in it. Put new plugs wires and cap, on it
