8 rib belt
« on: September 12, 2009, 12:06:08 PM »
Anyone know if you can upgrade to an 8 rib belt? i already have the 8 rib pulley for the alternator, the idler(s) and the waterpump seem to be wide enough, what's left is the crank and the power steering - any pointers would be great if you guys can help me out, thank you.

IIRC, you can run a 6-groove belt on a 8-groove pulley.

already having the alt 8 rib and it's fine with the 6 rib belt, just want an 8 rib belt since it turns out to be quite long with the york and supercharger added in.
