Stalling
« on: April 30, 2010, 09:29:03 PM »
Hmmmm...Jeep stalled twice in the past couple of days.  Both times occurred while I dropped into neutral and was coasting as I was coming to a stop or a turn.

Idles right where it should when this isn't happening.

Going in the muffler shop tomorrow to address some obvious sounding exhaust leaks and rattling...wonder if this would have anything to do with it.

Thoughts?

Crank Position Sensor?  Could be the TPS.  I don't think the TPS will cause a CEL so check for codes.

Leak at the downpipe from the manifold to the exhaust....sealed that up and then they were able to tell that there is a leak around the manifold.

Will have a buddy look at it for me while I'm travelling next week in his shop.
