is not normal, you should be able to get to 60 no problem

EDIT: unless for example you have 37'' tires and don't account for the speedo error due to longer tire circumference

tell us more about your rig, that way we can understand what changes would be applicable

what transmission you have
axles
tires
any existing mods?

if you didn't yet you can get a bit more out of it with a 4.0L t/b or even larger like 62 or 64mm t/b and a spacer. Also a high flow filter would help as well. Increasing your fuel pressure a bit or larger injectors would also help (but since you have a TJ the fuel pressure is more challenging). Electric fan swap also gives a bit of a gain. Depending on the tire size and type of transmission re-gearing could also improve available ponies at the wheels. Moving to more complicated mods you're looking at camshaft, roller rockers and a supercharger or turbo. Or if you want you can always look at an engine swap.

there are a few projects on the site also so check that as well.

i do have a 64mm TJ t/b and spacer for sale at this time so if you're interested send me a PM.

How about an introduction before asking such vague questions?

Ok guys. My car is bone stock 2001 TJ. I am looking for some more power from my 4 banger. I live in Poland and love it here.

Here is my ride

Is this a T/B? Do you know what size?

that's an intake manifold, the throttle body or TB is the one where the accelerator cable goes to and is bolted with 4 screws in that picture to the manifold. That particular one is from a 4.0 Liter engine

Ours is totally stock and tops out at about 90 mph. :weee:
Not every day, just once after I got it to see what it would do.

Looks like you live in the mountains. What altitude are you at? Maybe that has something to do with it. If you're really up there your engine might not be able to get enough air. Just get a Supercharger... no big deal.
