Recall: 2010-2011 Dodge Ram—Braking system problem
2010-Dodge-Ram
Chrysler is recalling over 76,000 diesel Ram pickup trucks due to a problem with the braking system. The Rams built between March 2009 and October 2010 have a hydroboost brake system that may be equipped with a power steering reservoir cap. Excessive vent pressure levels may result in brake pedals that can be slow to return. This would also cause the brake lights to be slow to turn off, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Chrysler dealerships will replace the power steering cap free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in February.
