So the offset washers are specifically for the intake bolts only?

they go on the bolts which are in between exhaust and intake (but I think those are the only bolts that go on the intake if that's what you're asking). take some pics once you put them on and i'll let you know if you got it right, my mental pictures are a bit blurry since I installed the pacesetter.

You should also be running the full length gasket with headers
not the one that only has intake manifold gaskets.

My 94 had no exhaust gasket at all when new. The cast iron manifold was
thicker than the intake manifold, but the intake manifold gaskets made
them the same thickness.

ok so I put a fel pro gasket on , torqued it all in sequence and used the washers in the right place and now its redlining WTF .. I would really like to talk to someone one on one maybe they could explain it better over the phone cuz im at a loss I installed everything by the book .. I unplugged the TPS and accelerator cable and still its redlining  , Im begging someone to message me there number so I can get this taken care of

Jeep is fixed and back on the road .. my idle problem was the rear guide pin on the intake was stuck in the intake causing an 1/8" gap .. got it sealed up right and welded my exhaust back up and after I did all the mods this baby scoots I mean scoots .. I hit 80mph and it was climbing .. Iv never seen past 74
