12v Microwave...
« on: January 24, 2011, 12:50:14 PM »
Saw this on Jeepfreak and thought it was dumb.  Maybe if you're a trucker it's OK but if you're camping, why not use a dutch oven and kernels or if you have to Jiffy Pop?  Does the author know people have made popcorn before without the use of a microwave?  I see the need for a refrigerator/freezer but not a microwave.  What next an espresso machine?  What do you guy's think?

looks like a waste of what little space a jeep has for luggage.. tinfoil and the engine are all you need to meat my cooking needs on the trial.. or a fire and dutch oven would be nice for overnight trial rides...

I ordered one!  :wall:

Just kidding. I agree with having a fridge/freezer but not a MW. I pack to much  :crap: as it is.

They are VERY useful on boats...  It's not always clear nights out in the sea.

I have this wild idea of turning a Suburban or Excursion in to a Class B RV for Sam and I to use as a tow rig and back country explorer.
