94 2.5 beginning to backfire...
« on: April 22, 2012, 06:39:23 PM »
:'(  Over the winter (I don't drive her in the winter), I had the throttle body bored to 63 MM, changed out the plugs, cap and rotor.  For some reason, when I am getting on the highway (foot to the floor) and changing gears, it has begun to backfire.  I also replaced the exhaust.  Anyone have any ideas what might be going on?

what's the plug gap set at? any O2 sensor issues or any codes?

if none of the above my guess it's a leaky injector
