« on: September 05, 2012, 08:08:38 PM »
I had to finally try this out.

We welded my buddy's bed frame for his kid that was jumping on it and broke it. Wasn't pretty. Wasn't the best option. But, it was f'n cool!

Stick welding is never pretty unless you've got a lot of experience.  Nothing wrong with an ugly weld as long as it's solid though.

To be honest, we hadn't played with it to much. I've heard others say 3 is better, but 2 will work. That bed probably could have been fine with two as we kept blowing holes in it until we started using washers and bolts to help mend the gap. You should of heard the conversation with us when I told him what I think might work and I had seen it on youtube. He's all "that's how ever story that ends bad starts." Lmao
