fuel line?
« on: January 05, 2013, 07:26:26 AM »
I need to replace one of the fuel lines coming from a rubber block (not sure what this is), over the cross member, & goes into a hard line. How do I go about doing this?

Thanks

you have 3 hard lines there: fuel, return and evap (which is smaller diameter). For either one of the fuel lines you disconnect the "quick connect" line coupler on the frame located right under the brake booster (you need to press the 2 white tabs in the plastic coupler, the white tabs stay with the line) take the rubber line off at the rear axle, take the line off the frame (compress the holding tabs in the plastic brackets that hold the line and pull out, careful not to brake those tabs but you can use zip-ties if that happens), install your new line in reverse steps.

nothing too complicated.
