Went to the Auto Show... saw the Cherokee.

I think the only Jeep I'd probably consider buying is the Cherokee Trailhawk.  Throw on some BFG KO's with a little bigger meat and a rack on top and it could be a nice family expo rig.  The front looks better in person.  I just wish there was a diesel option or a manual.  Although the auto is probably necessary for the traction control and offroad settings for the transfer case.  It does have lower gears then the Wrangler. Also the rear locking differential.  I bet you could do the Trans-American Trail.  I don't think I'd take it to the Rubicon though.

I also saw the Toyota Life Time Rav-4.  Now I don't usually like the Rav-4 but this one looked decent.  They did this one for SEMA.  It's an AWD with a shower so when you come out off the beach.  Interesting concept.  It's in the same class as the Cherokee as well.
