need help on a fair price
« on: June 14, 2014, 12:31:08 PM »
Im going to sell the D35 that was in my jeep when i bought it but I dont know how much to ask for it.. As far as i know it has a detroit locker with 4:88s with a different diff cover. Not sure if they upgrade the axles or not. All the seals are good and no leaks or damage that i can see.

Thanks Anthony

They used to go for around $250-350 or so with lower gears and lockers.  $150-200 sounds more like what a stock axle might be worth.  Basically they're buying the Detroit and gears and getting a housing and shafts for free.

Thanks Jeff, I was just throwing out a number that seemed reasonable. Due to the fact that it's a D35 and I'm not the one who put the money into it. I'm glad to hear I can free up a little more money to put back into the ole YJ!!
Once again thank you for the info.
