Did you need to do a slip yoke conversion or replace the driveshaft?

yeah...my springs were flat too...my lift and tires raised it from 15" at the bumper to 30" at the bumper...i didnt have to replace the driveshaft or put in a SYE kit, all i had to do is drop the t-case and clock the rear driveshaft....if i was thinking i would have put 4* shims in instead of the 2.5* ones that came with the kit...but sometime ill be doing the SYE kit...maybe when i swap in my ford 8.8" rear, put on the 2" body lift, cut the rear fenders and throw on the 40"boggers and swap in the efi 302 , 4-spd, and the 205t-case...but then again im just dreaming again...but i will do the SYE...

i went with the tires because i didnt want to kill my squirrels by forcing them to run the 35s i desired...

my avatar is with the lift and the tires...i havent got and album yet but then again, i dont have many pics either....

Have pictures?  I've been thinking of maything throwing on some 33x10.5R15's on my Jeep if I end up commuting with it more.  I really want to retire it from my primary form of transportation to secondary status. :?

Cool stuff, I have my eye on the 4.5 RE Xduty kit but figured I would need to do SYE and shaft first. I already did the transfer drop and shims so I should be good. I cant decide if I want to do a SOA or just RE 4.5 kit you have.

to do the SOA kit properly, it would cost about the same anyway so like i read in another post...why reinvent the wheel?....i was having thoughts about a SOA kit but i think i went with the better of the 2....if i ever went with the SOA now, with my springs i have, just think of the tires i could run...about 10"susp lift on a jp...hmmm....
