A/C swap question

Does anybody know if the A/C systems for the 2.5L and the 4.0L are the same?  I want to put A/C in my 2.5 and I have
 one in a 4.0 Sport that I can get.  Will it work?

What years are you talking about?  Models?

It should work then.  2.5L's and 4.0L's from 1991 have interchangable AC.  You'll run into problem in 1998/9 I think when they moved the alternator.

Alright, I'll try it and see.  I've got to go and get that thing discharged though, before I start taking things apart.
