ive had these poison spyder rock sliders sittin on my back porch for a few months now. has anyone installed these? i know there not that hard but its just a huge pain in the ass. How long did it take? any tips or hints before i finally do this install. These are the rock sliders with the rail, and they mount between the body and my body lift mounts. so i know i have to shave those down 3/16 of an inch.

Only advice I can offer is to make sure you use a gasket between them and the body to prevent rust.

Why do you have to shave down the body mount?

The sliders have 3/16" plate that slide in above the body mounts.

3/16 isn't enough to even worry about.  If you don't cut the bushing peoperly, you can cause it to tear prematurely.
