Depending on the year the gas tank is either in the back or the driver is sitting on it. Now, I'm not sure if it's a late model anymore. Pictures a bit blury but I think it might be from the early AMC or Kaiser era. I think it has side pipes so that would make it a Kaiser. The stock engine for those was the I4 or the more common 231 V6.
I think I noticed him shifting form 1st to second so he had to have some decent amount of torque. I'm not sure if I'd want to be melting my tires like that if I had a plastic gas tank. I'd assume he ran them till they popped.
