Need a Jeep/Mopar Part #
« on: October 13, 2006, 11:08:22 PM »
Hey guys.  My 94 just ate its first set of motor mounts.  SO I need to replace 'em asap.  It also sheared the spacer bracket on the passenger side (under the motor mount).  Can anyone give me a part number for that piece so I can order it from the dealership?

Also....any advice for some stronger motor mounts that AREN'T soild bushings?

Parts guys at the dealership can get you the correct parts for your application if you give them your VIN, typically the last 8 but sometimes the whole thing. And im sure that somone here knows what they are as well, but i dont so hope that helps heh :D

You don't need a VIN.  Just go to the Dealer and they have it on their computer.  They should have them.  IF you get it though, could you give me the Parts number?     They'll probably have to special order them though.  I got mine years ago and never got the part number.  BTW: the replacement is a lot stronger then the original.

I recommend getting stock moutns from http://www.willysoffroadsupply.com/.  Tell Rob I sent ya.  He's got the best prices for the mounts.  You'll get both engine mounts and the tranny mount for around $35.  This is a lot cheaper then NAPA or anyone else.

Ok guys got the part from the dealer.  $15 bucks (not too bad!   8)  )  It IS a dealer only part, so dont waste your time hunting all over for it.  The new bracket looks MUCH stronger than the original.

DC part number on the package...

Daimler Chrysler
52058562 - Bracket, Pass Side Motor mount 2.5L

This is a YJ only part.  TJ's use a mount similar to the 4.0L YJ which the 4.0L TJ also shares.  The 2.5L YJ is the only oddball.  Although I'm not sure about the XJ's.
