I went to auto zone and they sell an entire fuse block for $6.00. It has the brass prongs in it. i was gonna use it in my older bike but have not gotten around to it yet. Make sure to disconnec the battrey.
i got a shelf above the dash , that is bolted to the roll bar. I put a light facing the rear and spliced it into the foot light, so I am cool.

You could either get a fuse block or just get an inline fuse and wire the interior light by itself.

Actually the stock interior lights suck, really bad.  If you want a bright light get one of those $5 universal dome lights.  It should be all clear plastic and 3x3x5 brick.  Those are really bright and work great.

Kinda weird that the prong was broken.  It's not like thy can move a lot.  To replace the prong you'd have to open the box which would be a PITA since everything is wired to it.

I chose to get the 5 dollar light at kragen or checkers or pep boys cause it has a white lens to it. I did not want mine to be so bright everyone could see inside/and blind me while i was driving, but I also wanted it to be able to be bright enough to read a map. I just screwed it into my wood shelf and spliced into the foot light, ran the wires up the windshield frame and it works great. It even fades with the door chime and works with the dimmer switch.
