got one for you yj gods, so my door doesn't unlock from the outside anymore. Once in a blue moon it does. i turn the key and nothing happens. I keep forgetting not to lock my door, but that doest work, so i end up climbing through my passenger door, its very embarrassing, and annoying. any ideas?

I've had to do that!  It tends to happen more when it's cold too.  You'll have to take the inner panel off without breaking the panel.  Then you'll need to adjust the rod for the lock.  Either the lock arm is slightly bent or just play in the rods.  The rods something bend too.  I've adjusted mine several times and still get the occasional lock not working.

Just don't lock your doors!  I never lock mine, doesn't make sense because I only have a soft top with half doors, the zippers on the outside so i figure if someone wants to rob me it won't be hard anyway, besides i'd rather get robbed and not have to buy a new top

I agree with you chad, if they want it they are going to get it, might as well make it easier on them so they dont break something trying  :nothing:

Hell no, set that sucker up with low jack, catch them criminals. Give em hell. If I could I would electrify my Jeep to find that thief nice and toasty so early in the morning.
I broke my panel at the top dang it, I got gorilla glue I  have been meaning to use for it. My plastic clip for my inside handle broke, so I improvised with a syringe cap. I do not have $25.00 to shell out for a new handle, when all that broke was a tiny plastic piece that they do not sell.
Hint of advice, cut the screw like plastic inserts off that hold the panel on.

I quit locking mine when it's cold for that same reason. I installed a DEI alarm with the 2 stage radar plus it's parked in the garage at night.

i closed in my trunk by cutting a piece of sheet metal across the wheel wells then bending it down the front and trimming it at the tail gate latch.  i then welded it in with about 10 tacks welds(in case it gets messed up and has to come out) and herced over it and it looks awesome. i also don't have a rear seat because of my harnesses but you could make a smaller version.  it only cost me maybe 50 bucks total

I made mine out of wood. I have an entire trunk that I bolted in without drilling holes, and I have no rear seats either. I used the wheel wells for the platform as well. It cost me about $30.00.

mine is plenty strong so no worries there and that is why i didn't go with the wood approach but believe me i thought about it.

Daniel son,
I can sit on mine at 250lbs, I ain't worried. If thieves want it they'll get it no matter what. I got a good pry bar and a hammer for twentyfive bucks.
