Life after 6000 RPM's...
« on: March 05, 2007, 05:27:22 PM »
Well, as I posted a while back I turned the dial to 11 with a miss shift.  I've noticed my exhaust sounds different.  I haven't any any time to really look at it until today.  It's not leaking anywhere.  I know it's defiantly a bit louder and it barks a bit more when power braking.  What I really notice is that my low end torque has dropped.  I have the same feeling I had when I had a hole in my exhaust and lost a bit of back pressure.  I think I may have toasted the inside of my cat.  The Borla is straight through so there is nothing to get stuck in there.  I haven't had the time to take the exhaust off and check the cat.  I probably won't until the summer and even then I might forget.

Anyone want to take a guess?
