How is silver to keep clean?

I still can't decide on a color to paint my tj.  I was wondering if silver stays clean looking longer like Khaki or white and hides scratches?

It won't magically stay clean longer then any other color.  ;) Scratches will depend on how deep and if it gets down to the paint or just the clear coat.  Metallics don't show light scratches as well as solid colors.  Silver won't show off dirt as easily as black or white though.  Pollen does get highlighted though.   I'm still partial to the Metallic Low Gloss paints though.  The Sand and Green don't show scratches because they don't use a heavy clear coat and the metallic blends them in.

My daily driver is silver, stays a lot cleaner looking that my previous white and red trucks, and a whole lot cleaner than my wifes blue SUV.   The silver really hides the road salt well ;)

red is another color I'm thinking of doing. I just hate that when I get it painted it's going to look off the lot new, then I'm going to take it down a trail and scratch every inch of it. I'm an auto body painter so I can buff  or repaint it from time to time. I would spray liner the sides but I don't real like that look. What I really need is 2 jeeps one for the woods and one for cruising. :naughty:

My jeep was painted "matador red" and i have run through the woods quite often, The scratches don't show too bad.  Definitely shows up if they are deep though.
