Color Match Paint
« on: May 15, 2007, 04:33:38 PM »
I am trying to find color match paint for my Wrangler.  I have a 95.5 rio grande in that "sand" sort of color.  I find a paint code on the door of PV1, but I cant seem to find any place that sells a color match paint (preferably in a can form).  Any suggestions?  Paintscratch.com is usually a good place, but they don't list my color code.  Thanks guys.

Double check the color code with the body ID plate on the firewall next to the brake booster.  Any competent auto body/paint should should be able to mix whatever you want in a spray can or bucket using your color code.  They should be able to tint it to account for oxidation also.

Thanks guys (and lady).  I will double check the paintcode.  Its kinda like that rule "Measure twice, cut once" or something like that:)
