Topic: new sound . kinda like a turbo??

ok so as of yesterday ive got a weard sound . it sound like a turbo spooling up?
sounds like its coming from near the alternator[sp] .

i dont know if its related but i just changed the water pump ? to some high flow one .

i dont feal or see any proublems, just hear it . sounds sick but just want to be sure nothings brokin

Probably the water pump.  Some are a bit louder then others.

i hope so cuz it sounds sick . i just hope nothings wrong , but she feals to be running fine . did some good hill climbs yesterday

Well pop the belts of, see if the sound is gone then spin and listen to the alternator/ idler pulleys if it has any and feel for roughness and listen for untoward noise

Hey, maybe Santa came early, and left you a Turbo under the hood (instead of under the tree!)...  LOL!

i took off the belt and looked at everything . the alt has the most resistince but not bad at all . So im not sure what it is ?

Well with the belt of did the noise go away? If so keep looking at the rotating parts for play roughness and so forth
