Need better brakes in a YJ?

Spent the day at Vanco yesterday drinking beer, shooting the shit and fixing my pathetic stopping ability.

I'm a believer!!!!  Running 35's you NEED to get that Dual Diaphragm Booster set up on your Jeep.  Just make sure that your seat belt is on snug the first time you go to lock them up.

I've got nicely upgraded disc's on mine.  WJ dual piston calipers and 12" rotors up front, and WJ rear calipers and 11" rotors in the rear.  I could stop my 35's okay, and a friend of mine was more impressed with my braking abliity then the 4.3L swap's power.
Now they're just hella better.

Sorry Jeff, I got no pictures.

another good way to get better brakes is to get the master cylinder and booster from a 95 YJ or a Cherokee from that year and up. it is about 3" deeper than the stock YJ ones (at least compared to my 91 YJ) if you use the cherokee brake booster you will need to fab a linkage to extend the rod to the brake pedal, the YJ should bolt right in. a nice improvement and should be a must upgrade for anyone running 4 wheel discs.
