Topic: windshield washer problems !!!!!!!

 alright well my windshield washers havent been working for awhile now. i just recently replaced the washer pump but still nothing. i have power going to the pump. should it make noise when i depress the switch for them to go off cause i dont hear anything at all and still get nothing from the nozzles. i believe my switch is okay but not positive. ( all positions work and when i depress the washer switch the wipers go back and forth.) i am so confused on what to do now. any help is appreciated.

You might need to clean out the lines.  I had the washer on the wife's XJ quit working on the rear hatch.  I fixxed it by taking a can of compressed air like you clean computers with and running the straw into the line and blew it clean.  Some of the window cleaning solutions that are for sale today will kinda gel up after they freeze or get real hot.  that can be a pain to clean out of the nozzels and lines.

I'd check the wiring if you're not getting power to the washer pump.  The washer pump is on the same switch as the wipers BUT you will want to trace the wiring back to make sure it's getting power.

thanks guys i am gonna screw with it tomorrow and blow the lines out real well. i have power going to the washer pump so im sure that has to be the problem and i may even just replace the lines while im at it
