Schock Question

hi
i want longer shoks because when i flex my tj the problem is that the shocks
they come with my 2.5"lift are not long enought :nono:
i have bumpstops :naughty: , so can i use shocks from a 3-3.5" lift :puzzled:

i want the best flex out of my 2.5" kit, please help :thumbsup:

You can go with longer shocks but you might have to retain the springs on the axles or they might fall out. Older tj's had a strap that held the spring on the lower spring seat. But the straps are not hard to make

What you want to do is flex the suspension so you get the max drop and extension, them measure the distance from the lower shock mount bolt to the upper.  This will give you your extended and compressed lengths.  With that you should be able to look the companies shock chart and choose the appropriate shock for your application.  Ignore lift height.
