1990 2.5 Air Conditioning into a 1994 2.5?
« on: May 12, 2008, 02:23:30 PM »
Hi Folks,

My brother in law is trashing the 2.5 out of his 1990 YJ and installing a GM V-6 engine and transmission.  He's not sure if he's going to be able to keep his air conditioning.  He offered that I could take his air conditioning system if he's not going to use it.  Does anyone know if the 1990 YJ equipment (compressor, interrior vents/controls, lines, etc.) will fit onto my 1994?  I've got a serpentine belt setup and I believe the 1990 doesn't, so I'll need a different pully at a minimum.  Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom.

You can use everything BUT the compressor.
