Unofficial Jeep Night?
« on: October 24, 2008, 07:55:46 PM »
For some reason everyone with a Jeep seems to be out on the roads in my town.  On a 7 mile trip I passed a 5 lifted TJ's on 33's and an JK on what probably are 35's.  They were not in a grouop but randomly driving around.  Not really sure what's up with today and Jeeps here.

I saw a lot out the past few days also. It's probably a mixture of the lower gas prices & the nice weather (in CT at least) I'm glad I'm seeing more though, because people are finally waving to me. Some people look confused when I wave at them but oh well...maybe they'll learn =)

Actually, several of the Jeep are daily drivers.  I see the JK a few times a week.  The Yellow TJ must be the GF of the guy who lives behind me with a silver SOA YJ since I see it on that street occasionally.  He used to own a FJ40 with full-width 60's.  I think they're HS kids.

BTW: for the most part they all wave.

im finding an increase in jeep activity in my neck of the woods (ct) as well. Speaking of the wave-gf and i moved into an apt this weekend and i was driving the U-Haul van, passed another U-Haul the to which the driver rendered a wave- i of course responded as i assume is customary amongst U-Haulers but i really didnt know there was an actual U-Haul wave. Wonder what other waves exist out there besides harleys, jeeps and defenders..perhaps ice cream trucks, pizza delivery vehicles....
